WordPress PHP Developer

Responsibilities:

• Full-Stack WordPress Development: Take ownership of both back-end and front-end development for WordPress projects, including the creation of custom WordPress themes and plugins from scratch.
• Platform Expertise: Apply a strong and in-depth understanding of the WordPress Platform, including its architecture, core functionalities, and best practices.
• Custom Development: Develop high-quality custom WordPress themes and plugins, ensuring they are robust, scalable, and meet specific project requirements.
• Plugin Integration: Expertly integrate various WordPress plugins, such as WooCommerce, WPML, and membership plugins, ensuring seamless functionality and compatibility.
• Admin Panel Management: Ensure WordPress installations are easily manageable from the admin panel, providing intuitive interfaces and streamlined workflows for content managers.
• Performance Optimization: Understand WordPress architecture and implement database and code optimizations to enhance site performance, speed, and overall user experience.
• Front-End Proficiency: Utilize expertise in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript to build modern, interactive, and responsive user interfaces.
• Back-End Development: Demonstrate proficiency in PHP/MySQL and AJAX for server-side logic, database interactions, and asynchronous communication.
• LAMP Environment Work: Work effectively within a LAMP (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP) development environment.
• Cross-Browser Compatibility: Ensure thorough understanding and implementation of solutions for cross-browser compatibility issues across various web browsers.
• Responsive Web Design: Apply a strong understanding and implement responsive web design techniques to ensure websites are optimized for all devices and screen sizes.
• Web Standards & Accessibility: Adhere to W3C Web Standards/Semantics and Accessibility Guidelines to build inclusive and compliant web solutions.
• Project Management & Organization: Effectively manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously, demonstrating great attention to detail and high organizational skills.
• Continuous Learning & Adaptation: Maintain a positive and upbeat attitude, with a strong ability to learn new technologies and adapt quickly to a diverse and multicultural work environment.

Required Skills:

• Strong knowledge of WordPress Platform.
• Expertise in WordPress Custom Theme Development and Plugin Development.
• Expertise in WP Plugin Integration (WooCommerce, WPML, Membership plugins, etc.).
• Understanding of how to make WordPress manageable from the admin panel.
• Understanding of WP architecture and knowledge of database and code optimization for WordPress.
• Expertise in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript.
• Proficiency in PHP/MySQL and AJAX.
• Ability to work on LAMP development environment.
• Thorough understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues.
