WebdriverIO Mobile Automation Engineer

Experience Required:

• 5–10 years in mobile automation testing.
• Strong skills in NodeJS, JavaScript, WebDriverIO, Mocha/Chai.
• Experience with Cucumber (BDD), Page Object Model, and assertion libraries.
• Familiarity with Docker and CI/CD pipelines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts for mobile apps using WebDriverIO and Mocha/Chai.
• Design test frameworks using Page Objects and Cucumber for BDD.
• Integrate automation into CI/CD workflows; collaborate with development and QA teams.
• Debug and resolve automation issues; analyze test results and defect trends.
• Continuously improve automation processes and maintain clear test documentation.

Must-Have Skills:

• Proficiency in NodeJS, JavaScript, WebDriverIO, Mocha/Chai, and test assertions.
• Experience with BDD tools (Cucumber).
• Strong knowledge of Docker and CI/CD tools.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

Nice to Have:

• Exposure to performance and security testing.
• Familiarity with cloud-based testing platforms.
• Testing certifications (ISTQB, etc.).
• Experience with additional automation tools or mobile testing solutions.
