Web Engineer - L3

Details/Scope of the project:

This role supports the Open Banking Modernization & Aggregator Expansion initiative (March-August 2026). The Web Engineer will deliver frontend capabilities for: Multi-vendor Open Banking routing (Finicity + Akoya or MX) Expanded consent (frontbook & backbook) Streamlined reconnect flows EU aggregator enablement (Tink - DE, IT, NL) Merchant value proposition enhancements Finicity RUX Lite implementation Bank-based routing UX Feature-flag controlled rollout The role directly contributes to Oslo LTS release and post-launch stabilization.

Reason for opening this role:

To support vendor expansion, dynamic routing implementation, and consent modernization as part of a 6-month Open Banking program. This is incremental capacity required to: Accelerate Phase 1 architecture and integration Deliver Phase 2 production rollout (Oslo GA) Ensure Phase 3 stabilization without impacting existing BAU commitments

Frontend: React, TypeScript Backend: GraphQL (federated architecture) APIs: REST + GraphQL Authentication: OAuth-based consent flows Feature Flags: Controlled rollout framework Observability: Production monitoring & SLA tracking Vendors: Finicity, Akoya or MX, Tink EU, Plaid (hosted)

Must have skills for this role:

4+ years professional frontend engineering experience Strong React + TypeScript expertise Experience building large-scale SPA applications API-driven architecture experience (GraphQL/REST) Strong understanding of OAuth and consent flows Experience integrating third-party vendors Experience in payments or fintech environments
