Job Description
Job Responsibilities:
- Maintain smooth functioning of office systems with minimum downtime
- Troubleshoot system issues including networking, virus, booting, and software problems
- Take regular backups of projects, Outlook mails, downloaded software, and other critical data
- Monitor internet usage and alert when usage approaches maximum limits
- Maintain clear records of backup DVDs and distribute them to concerned teams as needed
- Ensure data security and confidentiality; block potential data theft mediums within office premises
- Block USB drives on all systems to prevent unauthorized data transfer
- Block access to personal email services such as Yahoo, Gmail, Rediff, MSN, etc.
- Manage and troubleshoot printers, scanners, EPBX, and fax machines
- Take monthly backups of websites www.devangavivaha.com and www.hinduvivaha.com
- Capture video from handycams to system using video capture cards
- Download and install required software and plug-ins for the development team after approvals
- Maintain software installers, antivirus software, and other downloaded programs
- Create and configure email accounts for team members after necessary approvals
- Manage FTP usernames and passwords for various CMPT and client domains
- Interact with vendors to procure blank CDs/DVDs, RAM, hard disks, software, etc.
- Perform regular system maintenance including defragmentation and clearing temporary files
- Ensure only approved software is installed on systems; remove unwanted software
- Update the Activity Manager regularly and take monthly backups
- Monitor development team activities via remote desktop and report suspicious actions to management
- Write CDs/DVDs for project deliveries and test their functionality before delivery
- Learn and implement new tools and technologies to boost productivity
- Fix projectors and laptops for client meetings and events
