Wealth Underwriting Manager

In this role, you will:

• Manage and develop a Wealth Underwriting team of individual contributors with low to moderate complexity and risk

• Engage stakeholders and internal partners associated with Wealth Underwriting functional area

Identify and recommend opportunities for process improvement and risk control development within Wealth Underwriting

functional area

• Make decisions and resolve issues regarding resources, objectives, and operations of functional area and team to meet

business objectives

• Interpret and develop policies and procedures for functions with low to moderate complexity within scope of responsibility

Collaborate and consult with Wealth Underwriting peers, colleagues, and multiple level managers, as well as interact directly

with external customers

• Manage allocation of people and financial resources for Wealth Underwriting

• Mentor and guide talent development of direct reports and assist in hiring talent

Desired Qualifications:

• 10+ years of custom/commercial underwriting and management experience (including underwriting high net-worth individuals)
