Wealth Underwriter

 Job Description

In this role, you will:

• Participate in low to moderately complex Wealth Underwriting initiatives in support of high-net-worth portfolio management;
• identify opportunities for process improvement within scope of responsibilities
• Review, analyze, and evaluate borrower financial data for basic high-net-worth client loans that require research, evaluation,
• and selection of alternatives to determine credit worthiness; exercise independent judgement to monitor existing portfolio and
• identify medium risk issues
• Present recommendations for resolving low to moderately complex situations and exercise independent judgment while
• developing expertise of Wealth Underwriting functional area policies, procedures, regulations, and compliance requirements
• Develop basic understanding of Home Lending policies, procedures, regulations, and compliance requirements for Wealth
• Investment Management client mortgages as needed
• Collaborate and consult with Wealth Underwriting peers, colleagues, and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
• Adhere to credit risk management decisions to ensure satisfactory credit portfolio risk examinations

Required Qualifications:

5-7 years of custom/commercial underwriting experience (including underwriting high net-worth individuals)
