Job Description
We are seeking a seasoned VP/GM Global Hydro & Met to lead and execute our commercial strategies. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in global sales leadership and a proven track record of driving significant business growth. This role requires a leader who can build high-performing teams, maintain a strong process orientation, and develop an intimate knowledge of the market to outperform competitors.
Key Responsibilities
- Commercial Leadership: Drive commercial strategies and lead direct and indirect global sales teams. You will be responsible for attracting and developing top talent and holding teams accountable for results.
- Sales Strategy: Implement a value-based selling approach and maintain disciplined funnel management, ideally with experience using Salesforce.
- Customer & Market Insight: Develop an intimate knowledge of customers, competitors, and the market to drive growth at 2-3x the market rate.
- Team Development: Utilize exceptional selling and coaching skills. The role requires frequent customer visits to observe, guide, and enhance sales effectiveness.
- Strategic Execution: Contribute to setting and achieving strategic direction with a proven track record of disciplined execution.
Required Qualifications
- Experience: A minimum of 15 years of progressive commercial experience, with at least 8 years in senior sales leadership roles.
- Skills: Strong process orientation, exceptional selling and coaching skills, and superior written and verbal communication skills.
- Language: Required language is English. A second language, preferably German, is a plus.
- Travel: Willingness and ability to travel up to 50%, including international travel.
