Job Description

Skills and Qualifications :

  • Education : Bachelor s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Cosmetic Science, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., in Regulatory Affairs, Project Management) is a plus.
  • Experience : At least 15+ years of experience in product development within the beauty, personal care, or cosmetics industry, with at least 5-7 years in a senior or executive leadership role.
  • Industry Knowledge : Deep knowledge of the beauty and personal care market, including consumer trends, regulatory requirements, and RD processes.
  • Leadership Skills : Proven experience in leading and developing cross-functional teams, including RD, marketing, sourcing, and manufacturing.
  • Innovation and Creativity : Strong ability to drive innovation in product formulation and design, with a keen eye for emerging trends and market demands.
  • Regulatory Expertise : In-depth understanding of the regulatory landscape for beauty and personal care products, including safety, claims, and certification processes.
  • Sustainability and Ethical Practices : Strong commitment to sustainability in product development, with experience in sourcing clean ingredients and eco-friendly packaging.
  • Analytical Skills : Ability to analyze market data, consumer feedback, and performance metrics to drive decisions and improve product offerings.
  • Communication Skills : Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of presenting to stakeholders and working effectively with internal and external teams.
  • Project Management : Strong project management skills with experience overseeing product development timelines, budgets, and resources.
  • Technology Proficiency : Familiarity with product development software, ERP systems, and data analytics tools.

Working Conditions :

  • Location : Primarily based in the company s headquarters or product development office, with occasional travel to manufacturing facilities, trade shows, or global markets.
