Must Have
Responsible for managing and maintaining virtualized environments using VMware technologies.
· Working experience with installation, configuration maintenance, and troubleshooting of VMware infrastructure.
· VMware ESX management, troubleshooting, and upgrades.
· Basic understanding in VMware Guests, Templates, P2V, Capacity Planner, VMotion, and DRS
· Basic working knowledge of backup and SAN.
· Good understanding and knowledge on troubleshooting hardware and operating system-related issues.
· Patch administration and deployment in coordination with the app/web teams
· Able to troubleshoot VMware ESX (Version 5 and above) and System Administration skills on VMware products and tools
· Experience in performance tuning of VMware servers and virtual sessions and management of server resources between virtual machines.
· Experience in backup and recovery of virtual machines and virtual servers across multiple geographical locations.
