Vision Plus Technical Lead
Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Technical Leadership: Lead a team of Vision Plus developers, providing
technical guidance, mentorship, and support.
System Design: Design and architect Vision Plus solutions that align with
business requirements and technical standards.
Development: Participate in coding, testing, and debugging Vision Plus
modules, ensuring adherence to best practices and coding standards.
Integration: Ensure seamless integration of Vision Plus with other systems,
managing data flows and interfaces.
Performance Optimization: Monitor and optimize system performance,
implementing improvements as necessary.
Issue Resolution: Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, ensuring minimal
disruption to business operations.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with business analysts, project
managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver
effective solutions.
Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation
for system designs, development processes, and configurations.
Quality Assurance: Ensure that all deliverables meet quality standards and
perform thorough code reviews.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or
a related field.
8 Years of Relevant Experience:
o Proven experience as a Vision Plus developer or technical lead with in-
depth knowledge of Vision Plus modules (CMS, FAS, TRAMS, MBS, ITS,
LTS).
o Strong experience in COBOL, CICS, JCL, and mainframe technologies.
o Experience with DB2, VSAM, and TSO/ISPF.
Technical Skills:
o Proficient in batch processing, job scheduling, and performance tuning.
o Knowledge of middleware technologies such as IBM MQ and web
services (SOAP/REST).
Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead technical teams, manage
projects, and mentor junior developers.
Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on detail and
accuracy.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with
the ability to effectively interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Work Environment:
This position requires to work from dedicated delivery center, Occasional on-call
support and the ability to work flexible hours to meet business needs.
Collaboration with global teams may be necessary, requiring strong
communication and coordination skills.
