Vision Plus Architect
Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Architectural Design: Lead the design and architecture of Vision Plus solutions,
ensuring they align with business objectives and technical requirements.
System Integration: Oversee the integration of Vision Plus with other enterprise
systems, ensuring seamless data flow and interoperability.
Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and leadership to
development teams, ensuring best practices and standards are followed.
Performance Optimization: Analyze system performance and implement
enhancements to ensure optimal operation and scalability.
Project Management: Collaborate with project managers to define project
scope, timelines, and deliverables. Ensure projects are completed on time and
within budget.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with business stakeholders to
understand their requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Security and Compliance: Ensure that Vision Plus solutions adhere to industry
security standards and regulatory compliance requirements.
Documentation: Create and maintain detailed architectural documentation,
including system designs, data flows, and integration points.
Innovation: Stay updated with the latest industry trends and Vision Plus
updates. Propose and implement innovative solutions to enhance system
capabilities.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or
a related field. Master's degree preferred.
Experience: 10+ years of proven experience as a Vision Plus Architect or Senior
Vision Plus Developer, with a strong understanding of its various modules (CMS,
FAS, TRAMS, MBS, ITS, LTS).
Technical Skills:
o Proficiency in COBOL, CICS, JCL, and mainframe technologies.
o Strong knowledge of DB2, VSAM, TSO/ISPF.
o Experience with batch processing, job scheduling, and performance
tuning.
o Familiarity with middleware technologies such as IBM MQ and web
services (SOAP/REST).
Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on
detail and accuracy.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability
to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead technical teams, manage projects, and
collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Skills:
Financial Services Experience: Prior experience in the financial services
industry, particularly in card processing systems.
Agile Methodologies: Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and practices.
Regulatory Knowledge: Understanding of regulatory and compliance
requirements related to financial services.
Innovation and R&D: Experience with innovation and research and
development in software solutions.
Work Environment:
This position requires to work from dedicated delivery center. Occasional on-call
support and the ability to work flexible hours to meet business needs.
Collaboration with global teams may be necessary, requiring strong
communication and coordination skills.
