Vision Plus Application Developer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Vision Plus Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have hands on experience with the Vision Plus software, a strong understanding of financial services and card processing systems, and a keen ability to troubleshoot and develop innovative solutions. As a Vision Plus Developer, you will be responsible for developing, testing, and maintaining Vision Plus modules to support our business operations.

Key Responsibilities:

•   Develop, customize, and maintain Vision Plus modules, including CMS, FAS, TRAMS, MBS, ITS, and LTS.

•   Analyze business requirements and design technical solutions that meet those needs.

•   Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth implementation and integration of Vision Plus modules.

•   Perform detailed analysis, coding, and unit testing of new functionalities.

•   Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Vision Plus applications.

•   Create and maintain technical documentation for developed modules and functionalities.

•   Support the testing and deployment processes, ensuring that solutions are properly tested and deployed.

•   Provide technical guidance and support to other team members as needed.

•   Stay updated with the latest industry trends and Vision Plus updates to ensure optimal performance and utilization.

Qualifications:

•   Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

•   Proven experience as a Vision Plus Developer with a strong understanding of its various modules.

•   Proficiency in COBOL, CICS, JCL, and other relevant programming languages and tools.

•   Overall 5 + years of experience with mainframe technologies and environments.

•   Must have recent 2+ years of Vision plus application development experience

•   Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

•   Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

•   Detail-oriented with strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.

•   Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills:

•   Experience with financial services and card processing systems.

•   Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.

•   Understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements related to financial services.

•   Familiarity with other relevant technologies and platforms such as DB2, VSAM, and TSO/ISPF.

Work Environment:

•   This position requires to work from dedicated delivery center. Occasional on-call support and the ability to work flexible hours to meet business needs.

•   Collaboration with global teams may be necessary, requiring strong communication and coordination skills.
