Responsibilities

What You'll Achieve:

  • Partner with senior leadership to develop and implement innovative IT strategies aligned with organizational goals.
  • Lead IT operations, optimizing processes, maintaining standards, and ensuring seamless stakeholder engagement.
  • Manage daily operations, oversee escalations, and communicate effectively to minimize impacts.
  • Ensure IT infrastructure complies with security, regulatory, and compliance requirements (e.g., SOC, PCI, HIPAA, ISO).
  • Collaborate with technology, security, and business stakeholders to manage IT controls, policies, and procedures.
  • Build and mentor a high-performing IT team, encouraging collaboration to align technology with business priorities.
  • Provide technical expertise to translate strategic outcomes into tactical execution.
  • Establish performance goals and provide ongoing feedback, coaching, and development for continuous improvement.
  • Research and analyze industry trends and best practices to benchmark organizational performance.
  • Manage vendor relationships to secure cost-effective, high-value service agreements.
  • Participate in leadership on-call rotations.
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

What you'll bring with you:

  • 15+ years in managing technology operations teams, with at least 5 in a leadership role.
  • Proven track record developing and implementing technology operations strategies, and service management frameworks leveraging SRE and automation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, focusing on operational excellence and automation.
  • Ability to build strong stakeholder relationships and deliver customer-centric outcomes.
  • Effective communication, negotiation, and influencing skills at all organizational levels.
  • Ability to manage complexity and solve problems efficiently.
  • Innovative mindset, continuously exploring new methodologies and technologies.
  • Results-driven with a strong track record of achieving objectives under challenging circumstances.
  • In-depth knowledge of security frameworks and regulations (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, PCI DSS).
  • Experience leading distributed teams providing 24/7 operational support.
  • Working knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.
  • Knowledge of ITIL or other service management frameworks.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
