Responsibilities
What You'll Achieve:
- Partner with senior leadership to develop and implement innovative IT strategies aligned with organizational goals.
- Lead IT operations, optimizing processes, maintaining standards, and ensuring seamless stakeholder engagement.
- Manage daily operations, oversee escalations, and communicate effectively to minimize impacts.
- Ensure IT infrastructure complies with security, regulatory, and compliance requirements (e.g., SOC, PCI, HIPAA, ISO).
- Collaborate with technology, security, and business stakeholders to manage IT controls, policies, and procedures.
- Build and mentor a high-performing IT team, encouraging collaboration to align technology with business priorities.
- Provide technical expertise to translate strategic outcomes into tactical execution.
- Establish performance goals and provide ongoing feedback, coaching, and development for continuous improvement.
- Research and analyze industry trends and best practices to benchmark organizational performance.
- Manage vendor relationships to secure cost-effective, high-value service agreements.
- Participate in leadership on-call rotations.
- Additional responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
What you'll bring with you:
- 15+ years in managing technology operations teams, with at least 5 in a leadership role.
- Proven track record developing and implementing technology operations strategies, and service management frameworks leveraging SRE and automation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, focusing on operational excellence and automation.
- Ability to build strong stakeholder relationships and deliver customer-centric outcomes.
- Effective communication, negotiation, and influencing skills at all organizational levels.
- Ability to manage complexity and solve problems efficiently.
- Innovative mindset, continuously exploring new methodologies and technologies.
- Results-driven with a strong track record of achieving objectives under challenging circumstances.
- In-depth knowledge of security frameworks and regulations (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, PCI DSS).
- Experience leading distributed teams providing 24/7 operational support.
- Working knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.
- Knowledge of ITIL or other service management frameworks.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
