Job Description
- Perform powertrain performance analysis including torque curves, engine/motor power demand, and system behaviour.
- Run and analyse vehicle simulations across multiple routes and drive cycles under transient and steady-state conditions.
- Develop and optimize MATLAB scripts for data processing, physics-based calculations, and automated analysis.
- Work with Excel-based models for cost inputs, operating cycles, and vehicle utilization analysis.
- Conduct comparative evaluations across different vehicle and powertrain configurations.
- Modify, audit, and improve Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) spreadsheets.
- Analyse simulation results to identify trends, correlations, and engineering insights.
- Support validation of simulation models using real-world test data.
- Prepare technical documentation, reports, and simulation summaries.
