Lead the planning and execution of product validation and reliability testing throughout the product development lifecycle
Develop test plans, validation strategies, and reliability metrics based on design specifications and usage conditions
Identify potential failure modes using tools such as FMEA and ensure mitigation through design and validation actions
Coordinate with design, test, manufacturing, and quality teams to define validation requirements and ensure test coverage
Analyze test data, generate reports, and provide recommendations for product improvements and design changes
Ensure validation activities comply with relevant standards and regulatory requirements
Manage external test labs and suppliers for outsourced testing activities when required
Track validation progress, maintain documentation, and report status to stakeholders and leadership
Lead root cause analysis for failures found during validation and field usage, and drive corrective actions
Mentor junior engineers and promote best practices in reliability and validation engineering
