USI-CTS Application Architecture

 Job Description

Description:

1) Independently conduct working sessions with application owners and architects to understand application data sharing risks (e.g., who has access, what data can they access, etc.)

2) Work w/ app teams to understand current state architecture patterns including tooling and process limitations and recommend risk mitigation strategies including data segmentation approach, access control tactics, Privacy-by-Design (PbD), and regulatory compliance

3) Required skills include is the ability to review technical artifacts (see list below) to identify data access, data risks and provide remediation guidance to mitigate data risks

4) Preferred skills include background with application assessments, data risk assessments, and/or privacy

5) Sample list of artifacts to be reviewed are provided below:

a) Solution architecture diagram(s)

b) Application architecture diagram(s)

c) Physical Infrastructure architecture diagram(s)

d) Integration architecture diagram(s)

e) Data architecture diagram(s)

f) Identity and Access Management (IAM) architecture & artifact(s)

g) Reference client standards, frameworks, architecture or policies for non-adherence
