Job Description

Key Responsibilities

New to Bank Acquisition

  • Acquire 4–5 Current Accounts per month through open market.
  • At least 2 accounts should be PCA (Preferred Current Account).
  • IP (Initial Payment) of ₹3 lakhs; M1 MAB (Monthly Average Balance) of ₹4 lakhs.
  • Ensure KYC & AML compliance.

Customer Onboarding

  • Ensure a smooth transition of new customers to the branch banking team.

Customer Activation

  • Ensure customers start transactions and maintain balances (M1 & Q1).
  • 80% of customers to maintain specified AQB (Average Quarterly Balance).
  • 75% penetration of Internet Banking.
  • 50% penetration of DSB (Digital Self Banking).

Lead Generation Activities

  • Conduct activities for continuous lead generation.

Cross-Selling

  • Generate leads and make basic enquiries.
  • Coordinate with Branch Manager and product teams (RBL, Trade, FX, CMS/DSB).
  • Offer customized business solutions to customers.

Qualifications and Experience Requirement

  • Minimum: Graduate.
  • Preferred: MBA + IRDA qualified.
  • 1–3 years in New to Bank Current Account acquisition (preferably in SME segment).
  • Good understanding of commercial catchments and business segments.
  • Proficiency in local language required.

Technical Skills

  • Computer Skills: Proficiency in Excel.
  • Banking Knowledge: Basic understanding of Business Banking, Trade, and FX preferred.

Behavioral Skills

  • Good verbal and written communication.
  • Fluency in English (spoken and written).
