Job Description
- Manage inbound and outbound calls from UK-based customers seeking travel-related services
- Understand customer travel requirements including destination, travel dates, and preferences
- Recommend and sell appropriate flight options, hotels, holiday packages, and travel insurance
- Use GDS (Amadeus/Sabre/Galileo) to search fares, availability, and process bookings
- Convert qualified leads into confirmed bookings while achieving sales targets
- Upsell additional services such as extra baggage, seat selection, and car rentals
- Ensure a seamless customer experience from enquiry to post-booking support
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, bookings, and payment details in CRM systems
- Stay up to date on airline policies, destination updates, fare rules, and market trends
- Work collaboratively with internal teams to resolve booking issues, amendments, or cancellations
Requirements:
- 3 to 8 years of experience in travel sales targeting the UK market
- Strong working knowledge of GDS (Amadeus/Sabre/Galileo)
- Excellent communication skills in English with a UK-friendly approach
- Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets in a high-volume environment
- Deep understanding of international travel routes, fare types, and airline policies
- Proficiency in using CRM tools, travel portals, and booking platforms
- Ability to manage customer expectations and provide high-quality service
- Flexibility to work UK business hours
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience in a UK-based travel campaign or with UK-based customers
- Background working in a B2C or OTA (Online Travel Agency) environment
- Familiarity with travel insurance, visa processes, and add-on services
