Job Description

  • Manage inbound and outbound calls from UK-based customers seeking travel-related services
  • Understand customer travel requirements including destination, travel dates, and preferences
  • Recommend and sell appropriate flight options, hotels, holiday packages, and travel insurance
  • Use GDS (Amadeus/Sabre/Galileo) to search fares, availability, and process bookings
  • Convert qualified leads into confirmed bookings while achieving sales targets
  • Upsell additional services such as extra baggage, seat selection, and car rentals
  • Ensure a seamless customer experience from enquiry to post-booking support
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, bookings, and payment details in CRM systems
  • Stay up to date on airline policies, destination updates, fare rules, and market trends
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams to resolve booking issues, amendments, or cancellations

Requirements:

  • 3 to 8 years of experience in travel sales targeting the UK market
  • Strong working knowledge of GDS (Amadeus/Sabre/Galileo)
  • Excellent communication skills in English with a UK-friendly approach
  • Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets in a high-volume environment
  • Deep understanding of international travel routes, fare types, and airline policies
  • Proficiency in using CRM tools, travel portals, and booking platforms
  • Ability to manage customer expectations and provide high-quality service
  • Flexibility to work UK business hours

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in a UK-based travel campaign or with UK-based customers
  • Background working in a B2C or OTA (Online Travel Agency) environment
  • Familiarity with travel insurance, visa processes, and add-on services
