UI/UX Lead

As a UI/UX Lead, you will provide strategic leadership for the user experience design process, ensuring our digital products are intuitive, user-friendly, and meet the needs of our target audience. You will be responsible for defining the overall UX strategy, mentoring the design team, and ensuring all UI/UX deliverables align with our organizational goals and brand guidelines. This position requires you to be the crucial link between users, the design team, and stakeholders to deliver impactful digital solutions.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders and clients to define the overall UX strategy and project goals.
• Lead and mentor a team of UX designers and researchers, fostering a culture of learning and innovation.
• Conduct user research, usability evaluations, and heuristic reviews to gather insights and identify pain points.
• Guide the creation of wireframes, prototypes, and interaction patterns.
• Oversee the visual design process to ensure the user interface aligns with brand guidelines and UX goals.
• Develop and implement a design system that standardizes UI/UX elements for consistency.
• Lead cross-functional collaboration with product managers, developers, and content creators to ensure design alignment.
• Understand and prioritize user needs through user research, personas, and user journey mapping.
• Translate research findings into actionable insights that inform design decisions.
• Set clear UX performance metrics (e.g., user satisfaction, task completion rates) and use them to inform improvements.
• Document and report on project management, tasks, and workflows for all design projects.
• Anticipate potential user experience challenges and proactively address them.
• Lead efforts to troubleshoot and rectify any usability problems that arise.

Skills and Expertise

• Strong portfolio to be presented and defended during the interview.
• Experience or ability to work with clients to understand detailed requirements and design complete user experiences.
• Extensive experience in using UX design best practices to design solutions.
• Ability to iterate designs and solutions efficiently and intelligently.
• Ability to clearly and effectively communicate design processes, ideas, and solutions to teams and clients.
• Ability to lead junior and senior designers, providing guidance and fostering collaboration.
• Highly creative with a problem-solving mindset.
• Excellent visual skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to handle and lead projects with minimal supervision.
• Be open to receiving feedback and constructive criticism.
• Be passionate about all things UX and other areas of design and innovation.
• Understanding of basic front-end languages: HTML5, CSS3, Javascript (preferred).
• Understanding of WordPress (preferred).
• Experience working in an agile/scrum development process (preferred).

Qualifications

• B.Des/M.Des, B.A/M.A., or any other professional graduate degree.

• Work Days: Monday - Friday
• Work Timings: 10:30 AM - 7:30 PM
