Treasury Specialist

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare initial close workbooks and import loan data for funding through mortgage loan systems.
• Process and fund construction loans through warehouse lines and update the loan origination system accordingly.
• Coordinate with construction teams and internal departments to handle requests such as payoffs, draws, and loan modifications.
• Prepare margin call reports for quarterly regulatory reporting.
• Generate monthly borrower billing statements for construction and builder loans.
• Reconcile reverse product loan advances and verify transaction accuracy.
• Prepare and record reverse loan journal entries including securitization entries.
• Review batch wire transfer activity to ensure accuracy and proper recording in financial systems.
• Perform daily and monthly bank reconciliations and ensure entries clear according to established procedures.
• Conduct account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies where required.
• Prepare and post journal entries to the general ledger using financial systems.
• Process corporate check deposits and maintain proper financial documentation.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
• Cross-train in additional treasury functions and provide backup support when required.
• Participate in short-term and long-term finance projects as assigned.
