Travel consultant

The Travel Consultant will assist clients in planning and booking travel packages, provide comprehensive travel information, and ensure a seamless experience from initial inquiry to trip completion. The role requires maintaining strong customer relationships, meeting sales targets, and staying updated on travel trends.

Key Responsibilities:

• Client Consultation: Help clients identify their ideal travel package based on their suggestions and requirements.
• Destination Research: Study and assimilate information about travel destinations, including prices, weather, language, currency, customs, and local attractions.
• Customer Relationship Management: Maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure repeat business and referrals.
• End-to-End Travel Service: Organize trips, including booking tickets, reserving hotels, and creating detailed itineraries.
• Travel Guidance: Provide clients with all relevant information such as guides, brochures, maps, and itinerary details.
• Tour Package Sales: Recommend and sell suitable tour packages to customers.
• Customization & Negotiation: Accommodate client requests for modifications or customizations wherever possible.
• Problem Resolution: Address and resolve any issues arising during the trip to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Database Management: Regularly update and maintain client information and travel details in the database.
• Data Security: Ensure client data is stored securely and handled appropriately.
• Sales & Revenue Targets: Achieve set sales and revenue goals for the assigned territory or portfolio.
• Market Awareness: Stay informed on domestic and international travel trends to provide updated recommendations to clients.
