Job Description
• Undergo supervised clinical training in nephrology, including patient evaluation, diagnosis, and management of kidney-related conditions.
• Participate in medical research activities such as ongoing projects, literature reviews, and contributions to academic publications.
• Provide care and support to patients with kidney diseases, including those on dialysis and those undergoing transplant evaluation.
• Learn to perform and interpret diagnostic procedures related to kidney function, including renal biopsies and laboratory analyses.
• Assist in developing treatment plans for nephrology patients, including medication management and lifestyle or dietary recommendations.
• Gain hands-on experience in managing patients receiving hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis therapies.
• Support the evaluation of patients for kidney transplantation and participate in pre- and post-transplant care.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams such as nephrology nurses, surgeons, radiologists, and nutritionists to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Participate in medical education activities, including teaching medical students and junior residents.
• Attend conferences, seminars, and training programs to stay updated on advancements in nephrology and related research.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, clinical guidelines, and ethical standards in both patient care and research activities.
