Trainee Pharmacy

• As a Trainee Pharmacy Technician, you will undergo training to learn and develop the necessary skills to support pharmacists and healthcare professionals in the effective and safe delivery of pharmaceutical services
• This role involves a combination of classroom learning and practical training in a pharmacy setting

Responsibilities:

• Training Program: Participate in a structured training program to learn the fundamentals of pharmacy operations, drug dispensing, and customer service
• Attend classroom sessions, workshops, and on-the-job training to acquire the necessary knowledge and skills
• Medication Dispensing:Assist pharmacists in accurately dispensing prescription medications to patients
• Learn to interpret and fill prescriptions under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist
• Customer Service:Interact with patients and customers in a professional and friendly manner
• Provide information on over-the-counter medications and healthcare products
• Medication Inventory Management:Learn to manage and organize pharmacy inventory, including stock rotation and expiration date checks
• Assist in maintaining appropriate stock levels to meet customer demand
• Prescription Processing:Gain knowledge of prescription processing systems and procedures
• Assist in entering and processing prescription orders accurately and efficiently
• Compliance and Regulations:Understand and adhere to pharmacy laws, regulations, and ethical standards
• Learn about patient confidentiality and privacy laws
• Quality Assurance:Assist in quality assurance activities, including checking the accuracy of medication labels and dosage instructions
