Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Tax Compliance: Prepare, review, and submit accurate tax returns and reports, including income tax, sales tax, payroll tax, and other applicable taxes. Ensure all tax filings are completed within the specified deadlines.
  • Tax Planning: Analyze financial data and business activities to develop tax planning strategies that legally minimize the organization's or clients' tax liabilities. Advise on tax-saving opportunities and potential risks.
  • Research and Interpretation: Stay updated with the latest tax laws, regulations, and rulings. Conduct research to interpret and apply tax rules appropriately for the organization or clients.
  • Tax Audits and Assessments: Represent the organization or clients during tax audits and assessments by tax authorities. Prepare and present relevant documentation to support tax positions and resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and organized tax records, documentation, and supporting materials in accordance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with finance, accounting, legal, and other departments to gather financial information and ensure accurate tax reporting.
