Testing Technician - General

• Perform routine testing of MV Panels according to relevant IEC & IS standards, product checklists, quality code book, and customer requirements to ensure the best quality product.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues during routine testing of panels.
• Work according to LEAN principles and suggest improvements to eliminate waste.
• Understand SLD, Standard Schematic, and Electrical drawings of switchgears.
• Gain knowledge of electrical protection systems and protection relays.
• Provide feedback to the concerned supervisor regarding drawing-related issues.
• Adhere to EHS guidelines during electrical/mechanical testing.
• Ensure readiness of the panels before customer inspections.
• Participate in and demonstrate FATs tests to customers.

Qualification

• Diploma in Electrical Engineering with 2 to 4 years of experience in manufacturing and testing AIS switchgear products.

Skills

• Strong business communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Solid understanding of EHS guidelines to be followed during electrical/mechanical testing.
• Self-motivated, team-oriented, flexible, assertive, and high in ethics.
