Testing Engineer - Medium Voltage Circuit Breaker

Test Field Activities:

• Plan and perform routine testing of circuit breakers as per IEC & IS standards and customer requirements to ensure the best quality product.
• Provide necessary training and input to workmen on new products to ensure maximum quality output.
• Troubleshoot and solve issues during routine testing of circuit breakers, and inform vendors to avoid future occurrences.
• Work as per LEAN principles and suggest improvements to eliminate waste.
• Provide feedback to concerned execution engineers regarding drawing-related issues.

Customer Inspection:

• Ensure readiness of breakers before customer inspections.
• Handle export and domestic customer inspections.
• Submit compliance and incorporate necessary changes suggested by customers during inspections and ensure the same in the breaker before dispatch.
• Prepare and submit inspection reports, MOM, breaker test reports, RTCs to the customer along with calibration reports, bought-out component TCs, and relevant IEC & IS standards as required.

Additional Skills:

• Good knowledge of EHS guidelines to be followed during electrical/mechanical testing.
• Knowledge of Windows Office software such as Word, Excel, etc.
• Basic understanding of EHS guidelines.
