Testing Engineer

• Candidate should have sound knowledge in the substation erection, testing, and commissioning activities.
• Candidate should also have capabilities to meet the testing deadlines, expert in scheme/drawing interpretation, troubleshooting, and sound knowledge of the testing kit operations.
• Should strictly adhere to EHS guidelines and be well aware of the PTW process, LOTO process, Loading-unloading activities, etc.
• Candidate will also be responsible for the AMC and EHV equipment's maintenance and testing activities at the site and will be responsible for the smooth execution of Contract and Maintenance planning, Environment, health, and safety, Preventive, breakdown, and planned maintenance at the site.
• Candidate will be responsible for coordinating daily/weekly/monthly reporting to the client, Site material inventory management, and AMC of the Electrical network in an effective manner to achieve the agreed KPI (Highest Availability, less breakdown, critical equipment availability, etc.).

Qualification and Skills:

• Candidate with Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical), Min. 5 years of experience in the field of Testing & Commissioning/Maintenance of EHV Substations equipment with at least 2 years of experience in a responsible position on the maintenance plant required.
• Very good technical know-how on AIS/GIS substation configurations.
• Good knowledge of MS Word, MS Excel & PowerPoints.
• Excellent written & verbal communication, presentation skills.
• Candidate should have sound knowledge in the substation operation and maintenance activities, Customer handling, electrical troubleshooting.
• Also, should be well capable of handling site manpower, contractor manpower, meeting customer KPI's, and fulfilling customer requirements.
• Should strictly adhere to EHS guidelines. Also, should be well aware of the recent industry standards rules of safety, PTW, LOTO process, etc., and be an expert in preparing EHS documents.
• On-site Planning and execution of Periodic Preventive maintenance, breakdown maintenance with troubleshooting capabilities of 400/220/132kV Power Transformer, Breaker, CT, PT, Control panel, Relays, ACDB, SCADA, Battery with Battery charger.
