Test Manager
Job Description
• 10+ years SAP experience
• Minimum 2 full lifecycle SAP implementations
• At least 1 S/4HANA migration/conversion project
• Experience leading SAP testing teams (10+ members)
• Strong exposure to migration reconciliation & financial validation
1. Role Overview
• Act as Business SME and Testing Lead for SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA migration programs.
• Ensure business continuity, data integrity, and functional correctness post migration.
• Bridge the gap between business stakeholders, functional consultants, migration team, and testing team.
• The role requires deep SAP functional expertise, strong migration risk awareness, and proven leadership in managing large-scale SAP testing engagements
• Track defects using tools such as JIRA, Azure DevOps, or SAP Solution Manager.
2. Key Responsibilities
• Define and execute S/4HANA Migration Test Strategy
• Lead Data Migration validation & financial reconciliation
• Oversee SIT, UAT, Regression & Cutover cycles
• Validate Universal Journal, Business Partner conversion & simplification impacts
• Ensure end-to-end cross-module business flow validation
• Drive defect triage & stakeholder governance forums
• Present risk dashboards to program leadership / steering committee
• Support Go-Live readiness & Hypercare stabilization
• Track defects using tools such as JIRA, Azure DevOps, or SAP Solution Manager.
3. Expert in SAP Modules
Experience in 2+ SAP modules (FI/CO preferred):
• FI/CO (GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, Month-End Close)
• MM (Procure-to-Pay)
• SD (Order-to-Cash)
• PP / EWM / PS (good to have)
Strong understanding of:
• Universal Journal (ACDOCA)
• Business Partner (BP) Conversion
• Simplification Item impacts
• Data Migration Cockpit
• Integration testing (IDOC / API / Middleware)
