Design and execute performance, safety, and compliance tests for grid-scale and other Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS). Support engineering efforts for IEC & UL type tests, Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), Site Acceptance Tests (SAT), routine tests, and customer-specific requirements.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Develop comprehensive test plans from the component to the system level, following relevant industry standards and company processes.
Operate Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) setups to validate Battery Management System (BMS) logic, especially under fault conditions.
Perform both field and lab work to support testing activities.
Provide support for Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT).
Assist with IEC and UL type tests.
Support routine and customer-specific testing requirements.
Maintain traceability for the Design Verification Plan & Report (DVP&R).

Education & Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
3+ years of experience in BESS or renewables testing, either in a lab or field environment.
