Test Automation lead- Playwright

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain comprehensive test automation suites using Playwright (Coded UI)
• Create and execute test cases to validate Microsoft D365 functionality and integration points.
• Clearly communicating test automation issues, progress, and challenges to lead.
• Collaborate with development and QA teams to understand product requirements and identify testing needs.
• Create and execute test cases, analyze results, and report defects.
• Develop and maintain test data and environment setups.
• Design optimized test scripts for performance and maintainability.
• Stay updated with the latest Playwright features and best practices.
• Contribute to the development of testing frameworks and methodologies.
• Ensuring the availability and quality of test data for automated testing.
• Nice to Have:
• Fostering a culture of innovation and experimentation to enhance test automation capabilities.
• Researching and evaluating new test automation tools and technologies. Integrating test automation into CI/CD pipelines to enable faster feedback loops Qualifications
• Proven experience as a Playwright Expert (2+) or Software Test Engineer (5+) with a strong focus on automation.
• In-depth knowledge of Playwright framework and its capabilities OR expert in creating/modifying frameworks using Selenium Java.
• Proficiency in programming languages like JavaScript or TypeScript.
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and principles.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Good communication and documentation skills.
• Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Understanding of Microsoft D365 CRM modules and integration points.
• Proficient in test management tools and test automation frameworks. Preferred Skills
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and test automation integration.
• Knowledge of other testing frameworks (Selenium, Cypress).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure).
