Teradata Developer

Job Description:

• Experience in developing data models and data pipelines in Teradata
• Advanced SQL skills, including use of derived tables, unions, multi-table inner/outer joins
• Hands on with Teradata Sql and utilities like Bteq/Fastload/Multiload/TPT etc.
• Worked with front end reporting teams in defining reporting requirements, develop complex summarized views, harmonized tables to be used for reporting
• Good understanding of Teradata architecture (Staging, foundation and reporting)
• Identifying and eliminating spool spaces, skewness issues
• Carry out monitoring, tuning, and database performance analysis
• Understanding various indexes and using appropriately in the queries
• Experience in end to end implementation of data-warehousing projects
• Experienced in UNIX shell scripts to write wrapper scripts to call ETL Jobs
• Good Communication skills and should be good at multi-tasking
• Worked with stakeholders to help refine requirements and develop to those requirements
• Collaborated with business stakeholders to identify and meet data requirements
