Job Description / Responsibilities:

• Minimum 8+ years of software development experience in mainframe technologies
• Experience working in Agile or other rapid application development methodologies
• Lead teams of engineers both onshore and offshore
• Perform hands-on architecture, design, and development of systems
• Effectively communicate with third parties, technical teams, and business product managers
• Solve abstract or ambiguous problems through innovative solutions
• Own all technical aspects of software development for assigned applications
• Function as a senior member of an agile team and promote consistent development practices
• Conduct code reviews and manage development sprints
• Understand tie-ins with other systems and platforms
• Collaborate with product managers on system blueprints and feature planning
• Identify opportunities for adopting innovative technologies
• Continuously look for process and performance improvement
