As a Technician in Plastic Surgery, you would play a vital role in assisting plastic surgeons and other medical professionals in various aspects of plastic surgery procedures
Your responsibilities may include:Preparing Surgical Equipment: Sterilizing and setting up surgical instruments, equipment, and supplies needed for plastic surgery procedures
Ensuring that all necessary tools are available and in working condition
Assisting in Surgeries: Providing direct assistance to plastic surgeons during surgical procedures
This may involve handing instruments, sutures, and other surgical tools to the surgeon, holding retractors, and assisting with wound closure
Patient Preparation: Assisting in the preoperative preparation of patients, such as positioning them on the operating table, ensuring their comfort, and applying sterile drapes to maintain a sterile surgical environment
Wound Care and Dressing: Assisting with postoperative wound care, including cleaning and dressing wounds, monitoring for signs of infection or complications, and ensuring proper healing
