Technician - Critical Care

• We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Critical Care Technician to join our healthcare team
• The Critical Care Technician will provide direct support and assistance to healthcare professionals in the Critical Care Unit (CCU) or Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
• They will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of critical care services and providing high-quality patient care to critically ill individuals

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the admission, transfer, and discharge of patients in the Critical Care Unit
• Monitor and document vital signs, including heart rate, blood pressure, respiratory rate, and oxygen saturation
• Set up and operate monitoring equipment, such as cardiac monitors, ventilators, and infusion pumps
• Assist with procedures commonly performed in the Critical Care Unit, such as arterial line insertion, central line placement, and chest tube management
• Respond promptly to patient alarms and notify healthcare professionals of any changes in patient condition
