Technical Writer (Adobe InDesign)

• Create and maintain instructional content such as operator manuals, installation instructions, technical service bulletins, and Quick Start Guides using text, photography, and line art

• Identify and reuse instructional content to maintain accuracy and consistency while reducing translation costs

• Develop and maintain illustrations and parts lists for parts manual development and lifecycle support

• Consult with departments regarding engineering change requests to determine impact on documentation

• Maintain department technical publication records, files, and metrics

• Participate with cross-functional project teams to ensure documentation quality and completeness

• Adapt to new authoring tools and processes, including XML DITA, as required

• Produce user-friendly, high-quality publications within deadline-driven environments

• Mentor or guide junior technical writers, if needed
