Technical Writer

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Research, outline, write, and edit content, working closely with software development and product management teams to understand Product requirements
• Gather information from subject-matter experts and develop, organize, and write procedure manuals, technical specifications, and process documentation
• Research, create, and maintain information architecture templates that adhere to organizational and legal standards and allow for easy data migration
• Develop content in alternative media forms for maximum usability, with consistent voice across all documentation

Skills Required:

• Good to have exposure to programming or Application Development
• Create and maintain clear, comprehensive documentation for technical products like Spring, Java, Angular, and Bootstrap, ensuring ease of use for developers and end-users
• Develop training materials, tutorials, and guides to effectively educate users on technical topics and product features
• 4+ years of experience as an effective technical writer
• Proven ability to quickly learn and understand complex subject matter
• Experience in writing Software product documentation and procedure manuals for various audiences
• Excellent written communication skills, with a keen eye for detail
• Good to have exposure to Programming or Application Development using Java
• Ability to handle multiple products simultaneously

Education:

• Bachelors/Masters degree in any discipline from humanities, sciences/engineering
• Bachelors degree (or equivalent) in Humanities / communications, or relevant technical field
