Technical QC Manager

Job Description:

• Role Overview: Lead a Shared Services testing team of 10 multi-skilled testers, including Automation, Performance, and Functional Testers. Responsible for ensuring high-quality software delivery through test planning, execution, and process optimization.
• Team Leadership: Guide and mentor testers to follow testing processes, enhance technical capabilities, increase productivity, and achieve 100% automation.
• Test Planning & Execution: Review and execute test cases, prepare and validate test documents, design test plans, report defects, and monitor testing metrics.
• Stakeholder Interaction: Participate in functional and technical discussions with clients and internal teams including Platform, NPI, and ETS teams.
• Automation & BDD: Lead automation efforts using Cypress, Selenium with Java, and POM model; implement Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) practices.
• Performance Testing: Plan and execute performance testing using Apache JMeter, analyze NFRs, prepare test scenarios, scripts, and conduct volumetric analysis.
• DevOps & CI/CD: Collaborate with DevOps teams for test automation integration into CI/CD pipelines.
• Test Management Tools: Utilize tools such as JIRA and TFS for test management, reporting, and defect tracking.
• Process Optimization: Contribute to improving test processes, defining QC strategies for mid-size teams, and aligning with STLC and Agile methodologies.
• Communication & Problem Solving: Exhibit excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, and ability to work under pressure.

Mandatory Qualifications & Requirements:

• Experience: Proven experience leading testing teams, automation, functional, and performance testing.
• Technical Proficiency: Cypress, Selenium, Java, POM model, BDD, JIRA, TFS, Postman, SmartBear Ready API, Apache JMeter, DevOps practices.
• Methodology Knowledge: STLC, Agile, CI/CD, test planning, and process optimization.
• Soft Skills: Strong leadership, mentoring, communication, and team collaboration skills.
