Technical Manager

This role is for a Technical Manager with a strong background in database platforms on Azure Cloud, particularly within the healthcare domain. The ideal candidate will be a leader who can manage projects, design and optimize scalable database solutions, and mentor a team while ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations like HIPAA.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage database platform projects on Azure Cloud, ensuring alignment with healthcare industry standards and compliance.
• Design, implement, and optimize scalable database solutions using Azure SQL Database, Azure Data Lake, and other Azure data services.
• Oversee the development and deployment of data pipelines using Databricks and Informatica for ETL/ELT processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data engineers, architects, and business stakeholders, to deliver high-quality healthcare data solutions.
• Monitor and ensure database performance, security, and availability in a cloud environment.
• Manage and mentor a team of database administrators and developers focused on Azure-based healthcare data platforms.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations such as HIPAA and other relevant data privacy standards.
• Plan and execute cloud migration strategies for legacy healthcare databases to Azure.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives for data management, integration, and automation using modern Azure tools.
• Provide technical guidance on best practices for data governance, backup, recovery, and disaster recovery planning.
