Technical Lead - PowerBI Developer

As a Senior Technical Lead – Data Engineer, you will be a part of an Agile team to build healthcare applications and implement new features while adhering to the best coding development standards.

Responsibilities: - 

• Advanced proficiency in data visualization tools, with Power BI as a mandatory skill
• Proficient in writing SQL, DAX, and M query
• An in-depth very good understanding of how the Power BI Service works
• Understanding how the full suite of Power BI products (embedded, Report Server. Premium), paginated.
• Create and optimize Power BI dashboards, semantic models, reusable datasets.
• Develop robust data models by transforming data using Power Query and implementing analytical logic with DAX.
• Enable self-service analytics for internal teams, sires and sponsors.
• Ensure data accuracy, performance optimization, security, and documentation
• Data Modelling and developing calculations in DAX which are performant on large datasets
• Utilizing navigation features in Power BI (e.g. bookmarks, drill-through) to guide readers through a compelling data-driven story
• Mentor junior team members and help to bring new team members onto the team
• Other similar or related activities.

Experience: -

• 5- 10 Years

Educational Qualifications: -

• Engineering Degree – BE / ME / BTech / M Tech / B.Sc. / M.Sc. 
• Technical certification in multiple technologies is desirable.

Skills: -

Mandatory Technical skills

• 6-8 years of BI Development experience
• Strong expertise in Power BI (DAX, M/Power Query, modelling).
• Good SQL skills and understanding of dimensional modelling.
• Understanding of AI-assisted BI capabilities within Power BI.
• SQL: Highly Skilled. Must be familiar with common table elements (CTEs), complex joins, and analytic & windowing functions.

Good to have skills: -

• Healthcare Industry Experience: Some experience is desired, preferably Payer experience.
• Data Modeling Experience desired.
• ADF, Microsoft Fabric
