Technical L1 Support Executive – Virtualization Solutions

Key Responsibilities

Provide Technical Support for Virtualization Solutions:

• Provide first-level support for virtualization technologies such as VMware, Nutanix, and Windows Hyper-V.
• Troubleshoot and resolve basic virtualization issues related to performance, configuration, and resource allocation.

Virtualization Platform Management:

• Assist in the management and configuration of virtualization platforms, ensuring that virtual environments are optimized and running smoothly.
• Support the management of hypervisors, virtual machines, and storage in VMware, Nutanix, and Hyper-V environments.

Hyper Scaling Support:

• Assist in setting up, maintaining, and optimizing hyper-converged infrastructure (HCI) environments with a focus on scalability and performance.
• Support the scaling of virtual environments, including handling the addition of new hardware and virtual machines.

Deployment Assistance:

• Help with the deployment of new virtual machines, hypervisors, and storage solutions for clients.
• Assist with configuring virtual networks, storage, and backup solutions for optimal performance.

Licensing Support and Package Management:

• Help manage and track virtualization software licenses, ensuring clients have the correct licensing packages in place.
• Assist customers in understanding and applying the appropriate packages based on their business requirements.

Qualifications and Skills

Technical Experience:

• 1-2 years of experience in supporting virtualization platforms such as VMware, Nutanix, and Windows Hyper-V.
• Experience in setting up and managing virtual machines, hypervisors, and storage systems.

Licensing Knowledge:

• Understanding of virtualization licensing models and packages for VMware, Nutanix, and Hyper-V.
• Ability to assist clients with licensing queries and ensure that proper licenses are in place for virtualization deployments.

Technical Tools:

Familiarity with monitoring tools for virtualization environments, such as vCenter, Nutanix Prism, and Hyper-V Manager.
