Job Description
- Provide effective leadership of medical laboratory services in alignment with institutional policies.
- Liaise and coordinate with NABL, regulatory agencies, and administrative authorities.
- Train lab technicians and healthcare professionals in NAAT testing, Extrapulmonary TB (EPTB), and Paediatric TB diagnostics.
- Train specialist doctors on sample extraction and transportation protocols.
- Support NTEP and partner agencies in specimen transportation systems.
- Provide technical assistance for procurement of laboratory items.
- Develop, implement, and monitor Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Ensure implementation and monitoring of quality policies and quality indicators.
- Maintain a safe laboratory environment compliant with Good Laboratory Practices.
- Conduct monitoring and supportive supervision visits at hubs and spoke centers.
- Ensure continuous quality improvement across laboratory services.
