Technical Consultant-Application Security

Responsibilities:

• Work on application security testing and help strategize and plan the use of SAST, DAST, and SCA tools.
• Promote and enforce secure coding practices across development teams.
• Conduct threat modeling sessions to identify and mitigate potential security risks.
• Review code and applications for security vulnerabilities and provide recommendations.
• Support vulnerability assessments and penetration testing of applications.

Required Education:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field

Preferred Education:

• Master's Degree

Required Technical and Professional Expertise:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in application security
• Experience with static and dynamic application security testing tools (SAST, DAST, SCA)
• Knowledge of secure coding standards (e.g., OWASP Top Ten)
• Ability to conduct threat modeling to identify and mitigate security risks
