Teamcenter PLM - Data Migration Specialist

• Ensure that the target system meets the requirements for the migrated data, identifying gaps and working with system teams for solutions.
• Specialize in data migration, moving data from one system or platform to another.
• Develop and adapt migration tools to facilitate smooth data transfer.
• Conduct migration dry runs to ensure readiness and accuracy.
• Assess the results of data migration with the respective roll-out project teams.
• Perform data cleansing to rectify inconsistencies, gaps, and errors in the data to meet the target system model (Teamcenter data model).
• Analyze source data systems such as SAP, PTC Windchill PDMLink, Oracle Agile CADIM, Sharepoint, and file storage systems.
• Analyze, prepare, and execute data cleansing services.
• Specify and document data migration requirements in collaboration with clients and internal teams.
• Collaborate with data architects to design effective data migration solutions.
• Conduct post-migration data validation and testing to ensure client requirements are met.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to gather data migration requirements and expectations.
• Create spreadsheets and use data analysis tools to manage large datasets with precision.
• Develop templates for data migration objects that can be reused for multiple rollouts.
• Document data migration processes, procedures, and solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve data migration issues and escalate as necessary.
• Maintain appropriate data security and privacy levels related to customer data.
• Map data fields between source and target systems for accurate migration.
• Optimize data migration processes for efficiency.
• Profile data results from legacy data sources to ensure correctness and completeness.
• Handle escalated client complaints and concerns related to data migration.
• Identify and mitigate data risks throughout the migration process.

Skills Required

• Experience with Teamcenter Application 11.5 or higher, including administration, deployment, and code quality reviews.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Windows Batch scripting, PowerShell, and Python.
• Strong understanding of Teamcenter Data Model, including BMIDE code and customization.
• Expertise in Teamcenter modules (Query Builder, Structure Manager, Multi BOM Manager, Product Configurator, etc.).
• High proficiency in server-side and client-side customizations for Teamcenter (ITK, RAC, AWC).
• Strong knowledge of Web Services, SOA development, and Workflow handlers' development in Teamcenter.
