Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Reconciliation Oversight: Lead and oversee the daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliation processes between client data, administrator data, and prime broker data, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Discrepancy Research & Resolution: Conduct in-depth research on pending cash, position, OTE (Open Trade Equity), and trade discrepancies, identifying root causes and developing solutions.
  • External Follow-up: Drive daily follow-ups with external sources, including clients and brokers, to ensure faster resolution of identified breaks and discrepancies.
  • Stakeholder Interaction: Interact professionally and effectively with Portfolio Managers and Prime Brokers via phone and email to facilitate the resolution of fund-related queries and issues.
  • UAT Participation: Actively work on User Acceptance Testing (UAT) environments for the thorough testing of new functionalities related to reconciliation processes.
  • Team Support & Mentorship: Provide direct assistance and guidance to team members in their break resolution efforts, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment.
  • SLA Achievement: Proactively assist the manager and the team in meeting and exceeding established Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for reconciliation tasks.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline reconciliation processes, enhance efficiency, and improve accuracy.
  • Reporting: Assist in generating reports on reconciliation status, aging breaks, and resolution trends for management review.

Required Skills:

  • Proficiency in performing daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliations between various financial entities (Client, Admin, Prime Broker).
  • Strong research skills for identifying and resolving cash, position, OTE, and trade discrepancies.
  • Ability to follow up effectively with external sources (clients, brokers) for break resolution.
  • Excellent communication skills (phone and email) for interacting with Portfolio Managers and Prime Brokers.
  • Experience in working on UAT environments for testing new functionalities.
  • Capability to assist and guide team members in break resolution.
  • Strong commitment to assisting management and team in meeting SLAs.
  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
