Talend Open Studio

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain ETL workflows and jobs using Talend Open Studio for Data Integration.
• Extract data from various sources, transform according to business rules, and load into target systems.
• Work with stakeholders to gather requirements and convert them into technical ETL designs.
• Optimize Talend jobs for performance, error handling, and reusability.
• Ensure data quality and integrity through validation and transformation logic.
• Collaborate with BI, database, and application teams for seamless data flow across systems.
• Document ETL processes, data mappings, and technical specifications.
• Monitor daily ETL jobs and troubleshoot issues in production environments.

Key Skills Required:

• Strong hands-on experience with Talend Open Studio (DI/Big Data preferred)
• Solid understanding of ETL concepts, data modeling, and data warehousing
• Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries (Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, etc.)
• Familiarity with data integration from APIs, flat files, XML/JSON, and cloud sources
• Basic understanding of Java (used in Talend jobs)
• Experience in performance tuning and error handling in Talend jobs
• Exposure to version control systems (Git, SVN) and scheduling tools (Control-M, Cron)
