Talend Developer

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement end-to-end ETL solutions using Talend Data Integration
• Develop and productionize Talend solutions, including transformations, workflows, and data mappings
• Work with Talend Data Mapper and XML data structures to manage complex data integration tasks
• Utilize deep SQL knowledge for data extraction, transformation, and validation
• Apply Java functions and scripting within Talend jobs to enhance ETL processes
• Lead small teams of 2–3 developers, conduct code reviews, and recommend best practices
• Translate customer requirements into functional and technical data mapping specifications
• Maintain documentation of ETL designs, workflows, and data mappings
• Ensure high-quality delivery, troubleshooting, and performance tuning of ETL processes
• Use MS Office tools for reporting, documentation, and communication
• Collaborate with business users, data analysts, and technical teams for requirement gathering and solution delivery
