Tableau Developer

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Dashboard Design & Development: Design, develop, and maintain Tableau dashboards and analytics to provide actionable insights for business stakeholders.
• Requirement Gathering: Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and effectively translate them into precise technical specifications for Tableau solutions.
• Data Quality & Validation: Ensure the accuracy and consistency of data by performing thorough data validation and quality checks.
• Performance Optimization: Optimize Tableau dashboards for superior performance and scalability, ensuring quick load times and efficient data rendering.
• User Training & Support: Provide comprehensive training and ongoing support to end-users on Tableau functionalities and best practices, empowering them to leverage data effectively.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest Tableau features and industry trends to ensure continuous improvement of analytics capabilities.
• Data Integrity & Availability: Work closely with data engineers and analysts to ensure data integrity and availability for reporting and analysis.

Required Skills:

• Strong proficiency in Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server/Online.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with SQL and database management.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Effective communication skills to interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong attention to detail and a passion for delivering high-quality data visualizations.

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with other data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, QlikView).
• Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and technologies.
