System Administrator

• Install and configure software, hardware, and networks.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues.
• Ensure the security of systems by implementing security tools, policies, and procedures.
• Perform regular backup operations and implement appropriate processes for data protection, disaster recovery, and failover procedures.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights in systems such as Active Directory.
• Maintain and update technical documentation.
• Assist with software upgrades, patches, and system updates.
• Monitor network infrastructure and resolve connectivity issues.
• Support end-users with hardware, software, and system-related issues.
• Collaborate with IT staff on projects, upgrades, and system improvements.
• Requirements:Proven experience as a System Administrator, Network Administrator, or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of systems and networking software, hardware, and networking protocols.
• Experience with scripting and automation tools (e.g., PowerShell, Bash).
• Familiarity with virtualization and containerization (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V, Docker).
• Knowledge of security practices and tools (e.g., firewalls, antivirus, SIEM).
• Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.
• Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Certifications such as CompTIA Server+, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, RHCSA, or equivalent are a plus.
• Preferred Skills:Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Familiarity with Linux and Windows Server environments.
• Understanding of DevOps tools and practices.
