Surgery , IVR , ED Facility

Key Responsibilities:

• Review operative reports and assign accurate CPT, ICD-10-CM, and HCPCS codes for a wide range of surgical specialties (General Surgery, Ortho, Neuro, ENT, etc.).
• Apply coding guidelines for multiple providers and complex surgeries.
• Identify bundling and unbundling issues; apply modifier usage accurately (e.g., -59, -51, -LT/RT).
• Use EMR and coding tools (e.g., 3M, EncoderPro, Optum360).
• Maintain accuracy (≥95%) and productivity standards as per project requirements.

Qualifications:

• Graduate in Life Sciences / Allied Health preferred.
• Certification: CPC or CCS required; COC preferred.
• Must have solid understanding of operative note components and coding rules.
