Support Staff.Procurement & Stores

Responsibilities:

• Assist in sourcing goods and services by identifying potential suppliers, obtaining price quotations, and conducting market research
• Help in the creation, tracking, and management of purchase orders for materials, equipment, or services
• Maintain communication with suppliers, respond to inquiries, and coordinate deliveries and shipments
• Assist in monitoring and maintaining inventory levels, including receiving, inspecting, and storing items
• Participate in quality checks and inspections of received goods to ensure they meet specified standards
• Maintain accurate records and documentation related to procurement and inventory, including invoices, receipts, and purchase orders
• Monitor inventory levels and notify procurement personnel when reordering is necessary
• Keep the stores or warehouse organized, ensuring easy access and proper arrangement of items
